MHC Form B: Harold F. Johnson Library | Hampshire College
Completed “Form B” documentation of the 1970 Harold F. Johnson Library Center, a modernist academic building on the Hampshire College campus. Documentation drew on archival research and photographic documentation of existing conditions to summarize the historical background of the Library as well as its context within the history of Hampshire College as well as regional and national trends in post-World War II academic modernism.

Documentation of 1967 Philip F. Whitmore Administration Building | UMass Amherst
Documented the 1967 Philip F. Whitmore Administration Building on the University of Massachusetts Amherst campus. Report utilized archival research and fieldwork to produce a historic context and property description, focused on the structure’s significance as the first exposed concrete structure on campus, and part of UMass' evolution into a modern state university. Project also presented the building's historic and existing conditions, and discussed its local, regional, and national context as an example of academic brutalism as well as its importance as a site of student activism.
Documentation of 1894 Massachusetts Farm Bureau Federation Hall | UMass Amherst
Documented the 1894 Horse Barn on the University of Massachusetts Amherst campus. Research drew on archival sources and site documentation to produce a historic context and building description, focused on the structure’s significance as one of the last remaining vestiges of UMass' history as an agricultural college, as well as its significance as a Queen Anne style "model barn." Final report detailed the building's existing conditions, historical photography, and local and regional context.
World's End Cultural Landscape Study | Hingham, MA.
Presented the site history and present conditions of the World’s End Reservation in Hingham, MA. using ESRI StoryMap. Project examined the site’s habitation by indigenous peoples, use as an agricultural landscape, partial residential development by Frederick Law Olmsted, 1967 acquisition by the Trustees, contemporary enjoyment as a recreational resource, and risk from climate change.
Wellesley Town Hall Visioning and Space Utilization Study | Wellesley, MA.
Assisted the completion of a comprehensive existing conditions and programming study of the 1881–1886 Wellesley Town Hall for the Town of Wellesley. Conducted historical background research, produced graphics and figures, and collaborated with firm principals and project consultants on production of the final report. Contributing author to Executive Summary, Historic Background, Existing Conditions, and Visioning and Programming sections of the final report, under the supervision of firm principals.
Historic Structure and Existing Conditions Report, Dorothy Quincy Homestead | Quincy, MA.
Contributing author to historic structure report for the Quincy Homestead, a National Historic Landmark located in Quincy, MA. co-managed by the Massachusetts chapter of the National Society of the Colonial Dames of North America and the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation. Conducted archival research and site documentation, collaborated with project team’s Architectural Historian Myron Stachiw on research, scheduled consultant site visits, and consulted with NSCDA-MA and DCR personnel to ensure proper site conduct by consultants and office staff.
Cleared for Curation: America’s Cup Avenue and the Creation of Newport’s “Historic” Downtown | Newport, RI.
Investigated the construction of America’s Cup Avenue along Newport’s downtown waterfront, the development of associated
urban renewal projects in the Historic Hill neighborhood. Research focused on the evolution in urban planning by the Newport
Redevelopment Agency and the interplay between urban renewal, historic preservation and heritage tourism.
